From setting 3 Limca Book of Records for ‘Highest Number of Desert Races by an Indian’, ‘Longest Treadmill Run by an Indian’ – 171 kms in 15 hours and ‘The First Indian in the 4 Desert Club’ on completion of the rigorous Four Desert foot race; to now attempting the The Great India Quadrilateral Run
This run is all about Michelle Kakade
, who is set to attempt a Guinness World Record for "Fastest time to travel the Indian Golden Quadrilateral on foot (female)"
by running 6010 km, covering 57 major cities in India and on the country's most valuable and largest highway project, 'The Golden Quadrilateral'. Michelle will be running for 181 days in 164 stages, covering a distance of 143 Full Marathons.
Michelle will begin from The Gateway of India, Mumbai on 21st October, 2015 moving north towards Delhi on the Golden Quadrilateral and from there to Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and back to Mumbai. She will run 35 kms everyday on an average. This will go on for 181 days i.e. till 18th April 2016.
